4 Weeks Old
Our baby Nolin is growing so fast! It feels like each day he is changing somehow. I think his legs are getting longer, and his face seems to be changing too.
The coolest thing is that he is now able to look right at you and make faces and noises. It is almost like he can recognize you, and it feels so good!
He is staying awake for longer periods of time now and loves to play on his back and kick and make coo's. He has his one-month check up this week.
Of the many lessons we have learned over a short period of time with a newborn, is to never let your guard down when changing diapers! Needless to say in the middle of a late night changing Nolin decided to make his mark on our home with a little "Wall Art." Now I decided to write this tidbit into the blog so that one day I can use this to hang over his head--for instance when meeting his first girlfriend perhaps? ;)

| Stix has an obsession with Nolin, and we have to remind her that she can't be ON the playmat with him, but just sit beside him while he plays! |
