12 Week Update
So, let's just say I wasn't sure I would survive those first few weeks.
Morning sickness is a lie--probably a term coined by a male. I was sick all day and all night for a few weeks. Just moving off the couch was a chore.
I used up all of my call-in's at work and finally just had to suck it up.
But it did pass. Thank god.
Now I am mostly just tired. Oh and the big bonus is that my boobs are growing by the minute!
Had our 12 week check up at the doctors where we heard our little nugget's heartbeat: 162 bpm.
It sounded so fast, it was unreal.
I am healthy and doing well.
Due Date is June 4, 2012
Not showing very much at all, gained 5 lbs total first trimester.
For one of the tests, Integrated Screen it requires that you get an ultrasound where they take measurements. Well our little one was NOT having it. It was actually sitting up and not laying down so the tech couldn't take measurements. She told me to go take a walk and come back. When I came back it was laying down just like it should.
We saw the babys little hands and fingers, baby heart beat...this tiny little perfect baby!
It was crazy to see it move-since I can't feel anything yet.

I couldn't stop smiling all day, the experience today made it feel all the more real...
I already can't wait to meet this little one.
