A calm beautiful baby daughter who has settled right into our new family of four. She is so sweet and sleeps very well which is very much appreciated!
A planned C-section is such a better experience than my emergency c-section in the middle of the night with Nolin. I walked myself into the OR, hand-picked my favorite OB from the practice, and my friend Mandy arranged for her friend to be the nurse watching over me. Don' t get me wrong, the aftermath is still painful but the birthing experience was much more enjoyable. After three days in the hospital we came home Monday to our little man who is now a big brother and it felt really nice. My mom took care of him while we were away with the help of auntie wooder and eleanor ( thank you all so much),and Lucie flew in that same night and has been staying with us since. The extra hands are much needed and i'malready wondering how we will survive without her!
