Red shoes & BBQ's
It's the beginning of September!
Nolin got his second haircut of his life a week or two ago. He was very good in the barber chair and I was so proud of him :) He is growing so fast that in a month or so he will be moving into the "TOT A" room at daycare! He is trying more words and so far can say Papa, Dog, Ball, Encore, and what's that ("euuhhs sat?").
Lately Luda and I have been on a Breaking Bad frenzy--we have an obsession, and I can't believe that the show will be over soon! I have also discovered the Pioneer Woman (I know I have been living under a rock this whole time) and secretly want to live her life!
In preggo news, my cravings for cheese have been off the charts and giving in to them makes for a huge upset stomach!!! I am 17 weeks along.
We have decided to keep the gender a surprise. I know, I never understood how people could do this since I am such a sucker for instant gratification but it's a different feeling this time around for me.I do not feel the urge to know in advance. If I have a repeat C-Section, I think it will make the moment more special if we don't know beforehand. I have a feeling it's a little girl. However, I also thought the same thing when preg with Nolin and obviously I didn't have very good motherly intuition!
The boys went out to buy new shoes for Nolin last week while I took a much needed nap. He just outgrew his first pair from Auntie Wood and Uncle Troy and we splurged to buy new red Nike's because they are just too darn cute! Here are some pictures of him with his new red kicks:
We had an impromptu picnic last Thursday during my day off I packed us up and met Lud in Windsor and surprised him at work. We then went to the park we used to go BBQ when he lived there. It was a really nice change of the weekly routine, and Nolin loved running around in the huge park and swinging on the swing.
