38.5 weeks

There have been a few times this week that I thought we would finally meet our son!
Sunday I was having contractions for about an hour straight on the way back from seeing Lauren in St. Clair and then they stopped :( We went to see "What to Expect When You're Expecting" (which was disappointing) and I thought how ironic would it be to have my baby or get contractions during the movie?!
Same thing Monday, and Monday night. I had contractions and back pain which woke me out of a dead sleep. Luda and I timed them and they were close together, then everything stopped!!
I have also been trying to walk and take the stairs, and lately my hips have been hurting because he has dropped and when I walk I can feel pressure--not fun.
Oh and theres the lovely ankle swelling on hot days! I'll have to post a pic next time they are swollen like they have been!

At my check-up yesterday the doctor told me my cervix is still closed (huge bummer).
It is so weird that I am feeling all of these contractions and they aren't the real thing!
So Luda and I decided that we would try to not think that the baby was coming early so that I stop driving myself crazy each day wondering if it's going to be my baby boy's birthday or not!

So 1.5 weeks to go until June 4th--I also found out it's a full moon, which signals endings and a lot of babies are born on full moon days!

The nursery is complete, our hospital bag is packed, we gave our spare key to Wooder so she can watch the pups--now it's time to have this baby!

It's killing me to sit and do not much. Luda and Troy put down some sod in our backyard over the weekend and I just kind of sat there with my lemonade and spouted orders haha! Most would enjoy this, but I was wanting to be a part of the action!

Today's photos: (pls excuse the un-made bed in background!)
