We've made it! Nolin's first year has been amazing to say the least. I am so proud of the little guy my infant is growing into. He loves to flirt with the women when I take him out. He is so easy to make laugh and smile...but he is famous for making crazy faces. Let's put it this way-you never have to guess what he is thinking, his face says it all (I wonder where he got that from?!).
Nolin is completely fearless and totally daring. He loves to climb, throw, dig in the dirt and does everything very rough!
He loves his doggies and gives them "hugs." His face lights up when they come in the room--they do not feel the same way in return yet-ha! But they are good sports about it, and are very gentle with him.
He is a very good eater, now. He eats pretty much everything we have and among his faves are tomatoes, mangoes (and every other fruit imaginable), yogurt, cheese, seafood, crackers.
Nolin is taking one 2-3 hour nap per day which makes his schedule more manageable for all.
Our next challenge is to switch over to milk from formula and no more bottles!!
I will update at the end of the month with his growth stats because I am a bad mom and forgot to schedule his one-year well visit until today! Oops.
Noli's first birthday party was a success. We had a few close friends over and family and we all made sandwiches and had some awesome cupcakes. Cupcakes that were bought...because I failed at making a batch from scratch the night before :(
He is definitely so loved and spoiled by all that were there. He is one lucky boy. Enjoy some pictures from his first birthday:
